Latas Para Crianças

Fundada em 1990, a missão desta instituição de solidariedade é clara: recolher latas de alumínio no Chipre, vendê-las e usar os lucros para comprar equipamento médico para enfermarias de hospitais infantis. Recolheram mais de 25 milhões de latas e doaram equipamento no valor de 273.000 euros ao Hospital Makarios, o hospital pediátrico central do Chipre.

Mas são mais do que apenas recicladores. Também educam, fazendo apresentações escolares e oferecendo visitas práticas ao seu centro de reciclagem.

Em resumo, desde 1990, esta instituição recolhe latas, vende-as para financiar equipamentos médicos para hospitais infantis, principalmente o Hospital Makarios. Tiveram um impacto significativo nos cuidados pediátricos e promovem a reciclagem através da educação.
