A FoodCloud é uma empresa social orientada para a tecnologia que lida com o desperdício de alimentos e a escassez alimentar ao mesmo tempo. Opera uma plataforma que liga empresas no setor alimentar, como supermercados e restaurantes, com excesso de comida a instituições de solidariedade locais e grupos comunitários. A iniciativa não só combate a escassez alimentar, mas também promove a sustentabilidade ambiental, desviando o excesso de alimentos comestíveis dos aterros. A colaboração com empresas locais é o ponto-chave do sucesso do FoodCloud e o seu envolvimento com voluntários e jovens fortalece seu impacte social.
