Κουτιά για παιδιά

Η αποστολή της φιλανθρωπικής αυτής οργάνωσης, που ιδρύθηκε το 1990, είναι σαφής: συλλέγει κουτιά αλουμινίου στην Κύπρο, τα πουλάει και χρησιμοποιεί τα έσοδα για την αγορά ιατρικού εξοπλισμού για τους θαλάμους των παιδικών νοσοκομείων. Η οργάνωση έχει συλλέξει πάνω από 25 εκατομμύρια κουτιά και έχει δωρίσει εξοπλισμό αξίας 273.000 ευρώ στο Μακάριο Νοσοκομείο, το κεντρικό παιδιατρικό νοσοκομείο της Κύπρου.


Εκτός από ανακύκλωση, γίνεται και εκπαίδευση, κάνοντας παρουσιάσεις σε σχολεία και προσφέροντας πρακτικές επισκέψεις στο κέντρο ανακύκλωσής τους.
Συνοπτικά, από το 1990, η εν λόγω φιλανθρωπική οργάνωση συλλέγει κουτιά, τα πουλάει για να χρηματοδοτήσει ιατρικό εξοπλισμό για παιδιατρικά νοσοκομεία, κυρίως το Μακάριο Νοσοκομείο. Έχει επηρεάσει σημαντικά την παιδιατρική.
